Capture photos and videos on a job

Photos and videos are captured in the app and attach to whatever you are working on, so nothing ends up loose in your phone gallery. The web dashboard has no camera — media arrives after the device syncs.
In the app

On the Dashboard, tap the camera button. You can also start from a project, work order, or asset.

Toggle Photo or Video, then tap the shutter. You can take several in a row — up to 20 items in one session.

Review each shot. Add an annotation or description if you want, then tap Done to save. Media attaches to the project or item you started from.
Tips
- Start from a project, and media attaches to that project. Start from a work order, asset, or measurement, and it attaches there. Media does not attach to tasks (todos).
- Capture works offline. Files save on the device and upload on the next sync.
- Measurements have a short window: media can only be added for about 30 minutes after the measurement is created.
