Location on photos and media
Updated July 6, 2026
When you capture a photo, Minipa Link records where it was taken, so your documentation proves it happened on site.
How location is captured
Location is tagged automatically from your device's GPS when you capture a photo or video — as long as location permission is on. It works without internet; the coordinates upload with the media on the next sync.
See a photo's location on the web
Open a photo in the media preview. If it was captured with GPS, you'll see:
- Captured location with the Coordinates and a looked-up Address.
- Open in maps to view the exact spot in your map app.
Turn photos into a map
Photos captured with a location and attached to a project appear in See your work on the map.
