Publish, duplicate, and archive checklists

Updated July 6, 2026

Once a checklist exists, you manage its lifecycle from the Checklists list on the web. These actions are available to team owners and admins.

Publish

Publishing releases a version of the checklist so it can be assigned. Re-publishing after edits creates a new version; jobs keep the version they were assigned.

Duplicate

Use Duplicate to copy a checklist as a new draft (named with "(copy)"). This is the fastest way to start a variant without rebuilding from scratch.

Archive

Archive hides a checklist from the active list without deleting it. Use the Archived filter to find archived checklists.

Delete

You can delete a checklist only while it is still a draft. Published checklists can be archived but not deleted, so existing submissions stay intact.

Filters

Switch between Active, Archived, and All at the top of the list to find what you need.
