Fix Bluetooth connection problems
Updated July 6, 2026
If a Minipa instrument won't connect in the Link tab, work through these common causes.
Bluetooth is off
If you see Please enable Bluetooth to scan for devices., turn on Bluetooth on your phone, then tap Scan again.
Permissions were denied
If you see Permissions required, the app can't scan without Bluetooth and location access. Tap Retry to allow them, or Open settings to enable them in your phone settings if you blocked them before.
The connection failed
- Failed to establish connection. — move the instrument closer, make sure it's powered on with Bluetooth active, and tap the device again.
- Only supported Minipa models connect. A device marked Not recognized won't stream readings.
It disconnected
If you see Device disconnected, the app returns to the Link tab. Re-scan and tap the device to reconnect. To connect a different instrument while one is already connected, confirm Disconnect current device first.
Still stuck? Open Connection help on the scan screen, or start from Pair a Minipa instrument via Bluetooth.
