Create a report with AI

AI report is in the app. You talk and take photos; the app writes a draft in the background. That is not the same as picking a template under Create report, and it is not Ask Linky in web Studio — Report Studio has no Ask Linky.

In the app

On Dashboard, tap the sparkle on the left (AI runthrough).

On the AI sheet, tap AI report.

Or from + or Documents, choose Create report, then tap AI report — not the template Create report card.

From Talk to Linky, you can also tap Create AI report when Linky offers that button.

On AI report, talk and take photos with the shutter. The chip at the top shows the waveform and the remaining recording time. Tap the mic button (Mute mic) to pause the microphone.

Tap the check at the top right (Done) when you are finished. You need speech or at least one photo.

A short waiting screen follows while the report is prepared, then the report opens. Its status (queued, generating, ready) shows on the report itself.

On the web

Report Studio on the web has no Ask Linky. After the app creates the report, open it in Studio and select Insert block.

Select Generate PDF when the layout is ready. For a template from a past PDF, use Bring over your work style.

Start an AI report

Use any of these:

  • + or Documents → Create report → AI report (not the template Create report card).
  • Dashboard AI sheet → AI report.
  • Talk to Linky → Create AI report when Linky offers that chip.

Capture

On AI report, speak about the job and take photos. Mute mic pauses the microphone. Tap Done when you are finished. You need speech or at least one photo. A short waiting screen follows, then the report opens; its status (queued, generating, ready) shows on the report itself. If the team is out of AI credits or storage, the app says so and does not start a run.

When the draft is ready, open it in Studio to finish layout, Insert block, or Generate PDF.

In Studio

Open the report in Studio after the app creates it. Use Insert block and Generate PDF. There is no Ask Linky on the report editor — that avatar is only in the checklist builder. To turn a past PDF into a team template, use Bring over your work style.
