One project, any procedure
Published September 5, 20268 min read
Minipa Link structures any process you need to run the same way and prove.
An office procedure. Client onboarding. A kitchen. A tidy warehouse. Receiving at the dock. A safety walk. Building maintenance. A lab check. Electrical, HVAC, solar, construction.
If the work has a written way it should happen, and you need a trail, it fits.

What a job means here
A job is not a trade. A job is a repeatable unit of work you assign, execute, and close:
- Someone owns it.
- There is a standard — a checklist, a written procedure, an inspection.
- Evidence is captured while it happens.
- Findings stay open until someone closes them.
- A report or record comes out of the same run, not a rewrite later.
That is how a process actually holds. It is not a poster. It is what people run when nobody is watching — and the trail you can show when someone asks.
The same objects on any floor
You are not stretching a field app. You are putting structure around work that already exists.
- Receiving — inbound lot, photo of the packing list, pass or fail on the checklist, an open finding if it fails. The dock is the project. The lot is the work order. The packing-list photo sits on the item, not in a chat thread.
- Safety — weekly walk, required photo on critical items, open findings until closed.
- Quality — in-process check, the same checklist version every shift. A fail stays on the item. You see the trail, not a rebuilt spreadsheet.
- Office — onboarding, document review, a sign-off. No site visit required. The published checklist is the procedure. The sign-off is the close.
- Building / lab — maintenance on equipment, readings on the history, the next run starts from last time.
- A site visit — electrical, HVAC, solar, construction if that is the work. A project for the site, work orders for the visit, assets when there is equipment, the checklist on the phone. Same stack as the dock and the office.
How it maps in Minipa Link
- Project — the site, the client, or the process cycle.
- Work orders — who does what, by when.
- Assets — the thing you inspect or maintain. Skip them when the job is a procedure, not equipment.
- Checklist — the written procedure, published once.
- Evidence — photos, notes, readings, GPS when it matters.
- Trail — who did what, open findings, the report exported from the record.
Team roles make authorization explicit. Capture still works when the floor has no signal, then syncs.
You already have the paper
Most teams are not starting from a blank checklist. If the list is in Word, the inspection is a PDF, or it is a photo of a clipboard, From paper or PDF to a team template. Then Talk to your project.
